January 30, 2019: Manor NRG held our first meeting.  6 clusters were organized. A "Cluster" is a group of 10-20 neighboring homes. Each cluster needs 2 volunteer block captains. Block captains will reach out to each neighbor in the cluster to share information to help families prepare for both wildfire and major shelter-in-place events (major earthquakes or floods) as well as share how neighbors will check in on them to make sure they are safe after an earthquake. Clusters will share awareness of high risk fire days, what to do on those days, and share evacuation alerts. We will map out potential evacuation pathways.
