CCFA (Corte Madera sponsored Certified Comprehensive First Aid Class) New Class Offered! (Oct 2018) Town of Corte Madera sponsored a one-day, 5-hour first aid class which will be offered only to active NRG and CERT members, initially.
In addition to the comprehensive first aid for disaster modules, there will be a module on coordination between affiliated volunteers and professional first responders as well as other first aid modules.
A 2-year certification through ASHI and a 4 family first aid kit is given upon successful completion of the 5-hour course.
Free for Corte Madera residents. For all others, there is a fee required to save a spot. Only 50 spots per class. Register early!
Two dates set: March 23, 2019 and May 4, 2019

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Training A Three-day class (20-hours total) designed to teach you how to help your family, neighbors and community in the aftermath of a large-scale disaster. Light search and rescue, disaster first aid, how to put out small fires, easily lift heavy objects, and work as a team in a disaster.
