Be Wary of Aftershocks
It's important to be wary of aftershocks after the initial earthquake ends.
While no two earthquakes are the same, these two posts show that there were 7 major aftershocks for the first hour after the Nov. 30, 2018 7.0 earthquake near Anchorage Alaska, and an update 72 hours later on Monday, December 3, 2018 show 153 aftershocks over 3.0 magnitude occurred since the initial shock.

To sign up for an outage alert, sign in to Your Account and Select EDIT PROFILE & ALERTS (yellow button at the top of the page). This will bring you to the PG&E Preference Center. Scroll down to Alert Settings and select the "off" button to turn the alert on. Add your contact information, and select Save Changes.
